At the Sonar deployment comments, divers have always had to be weary passing large ships in their dives because the decibals of a sonar blast are so extreme underwater that is can cause blood vessels to bursts in your head and kill you instantly if you are effected by multiple blasts. So if the Order truly uses somar devices, they would need to be more distinct about the specific use of the sonar and how they imagine the lycans will feel after a blast.

The only thing that is good in DW9 is the music.

Sorry for english fans but if you play those musou games in english dub voices you're basically missing 90% of the musou soul, Japanese (and soon Mandarin for DW Origins) is FAR BETTER than any anime dubbed(french english whatever, voice actors are very far less competent than actual Seiyus)...

It's funny, too, to see electrical arcs fly off of the insulators (those disks the wires are on) instead of the wires themselves. Maybe they're just old and not good anymore.

The one thing I hate about the success of GTA Online is it took from us what could have been fantastic DLC from Rockstar. They were so good at these iconic DLCs but never gave us any for GTA V nor RDR2 😥😢 coz GTA Online raked in so much cash from microtransactions they just chose the bottom line.

There isn't any one thing I can point at in dw9 that I can say "that, that's what put me off". On paper it's awesome, loads of different things to do. It's all done so badly though, one thing multiplies the crapness of the next.

She must've forgotten he jumped into the car to save him" I disagree with this take, not because she is in the right for blaming him (especially considering how Jayson's death affected Ethan), but it was just a natural thing for humans to do. Grieving people often blame anyone and anything for the death of their loved ones (like, themselves or the person who died), and of course not only she was sad, but also pretty frustrated with her ex losing her child in a city with a serial killer. And hell, have you never lashed out when angry at someone who did not deserve it? It isnt a nice thing to do, but people do that regardless

Just a heads up. That scar in the head wouldn’t have been caused by her injury, it was a consequence of her injury. My guess is she Had some kind of brain hemorrhage due to getting hit in the head, caused in either of the two outcomes of the scene. The scar is from to the scalpel incision the doctors would’ve made to perform brain surgery to save her life.

To be honest, for all this game’s fault and boy does it have many, the one guilty pleasure I have from it is I actually like Ryan for what small character he has. He may be a bit bland and unfortunately not greatly written (especially held back by Jodie) but whenever I absorb this game or think about it I can’t help but enjoy him. He’s cool.

How’s it going so far? Getting antsy about the “relationship” between Jodie and Ryan, The Mission and a bunch of other faults.

I unironically got emotional when you said you enjoyed the chapter where Ethan cuts his finger off, it really IS a great sequence that shows the beauty of the game even if it's heavily influenced by Cage and has a lot of flaws. Small moments like those really show how beautiful and iconic the game could have been if it hadn't been for Cage.

11:00 having played through amnesia after so many years of watching lets plays (of course beginning with pewdiepie) I can describe the first moments of realizing the safety and beauty of this quiet place as breathtaking. I was so proud of myself that I earned the view. That’s what makes this level so iconic in my eyes, it’s the fact that you earned it. You have to trudge through hell to get to that point and proportionally the beginning of the game was the scariest for first timers

I think someone already mentioned this possibility, but it'd be great if the 4 main characters all had the possibilites to be the Origami K*ller. Of course it would be one of them, but the player would need to find out on his own who it might be, and if he is wrong, there'd be consequences in regards to it (Possibility of losing Shaun, lost time, clues aren't enough so the player would struggle more with finding Shaun, etc.) Reasons for the 4 main characters possibly being the Origami K*ller: -Ethan: Ethan could be a suspect on Jason's passing, Jason could pass away on "suspicious circumstances" (I am not sure how this would develop, but I think it'd be a good idea), Ethan is a prime suspect on Jason's passing and before the game takes place he'd be questioned and looked into by the police, therefore being on the police's radar already. The blackouts that were removed from the game could make the player suspect further, alongside some paranoid doubt that Ethan could show about having no self control when he has these blackouts. But, he could be a loving parent towards Shaun that seems to show genuine concern towards his disappearence, therefore making the player doubt. -Scott: We would learn the same backstory seen before later on in the game, however, we'd have a harder time piecing together the fact it's Scott due to the psychological display Scott could show that doesn't match the k*ller's motives, dates that wouldn't match, etc. Therefore making the player doubt Scott. Scott could still be the k*ller, and maybe, whilst playing as him, could see him put the dirt on the 3 characters or Kramer, in order for us to clear him as a suspect, via us saying "Oh, he is right, how didn't I catch that?" And after this, the investigation could get even tougher or there would be a consequence. -Madison: I am honestly not sure how we'd go on about her possibility of her being the k*ller (She is THAT one dimensional). This is made up stuff in my head that isn't said in the game, but it could be an addition that kinda makes sense. Maybe she could display contempt towards males due to past SA or some trauma in regards to males, therefore it'd make sense for her to target boys, since targeting grown males would imply physical strength and more work, also possibly could have the motivations to find a "good" man acting like a father to his kid, adding onto the fact that she has done risky things or downright negative stuff in order to gain some sort of recognition as a journalist due to a career in the brink of not being there due to her lack of content as of late (Often doing things in order to make herself appear to be the hero). The player could assume for this to be the case, but the romance she'd have with Ethan would make the player doubt if this was the case (Whilst talking with Ethan, the player could see the fact she feels empathy towards Shaun, doesn't know important details surrounding the case, etc.) If the player doesn't choose to have a romance with Madison, it would be a harder task to discern if she was the k*ller or not. -Jayden: Jayden could be part of an organization that could make the player suspect that he might have had something to do with Shaun's disappearence/FBI funding the Origami K*ller phenomena to gain something from it. This idea is a bit incomplete in my head since it'd require more analysis, but I'm thinking about Jayden as a pawn in a "Hidden Evil" or "Conspiracy" way, if that makes sense. The tripto usage would make the player doubt that Jayden would be the k*ller. This is very disorganized thinking on my part, and I might come back to this in order to modify things and present my ideas better.

So a catastorphe it's good. Nice soundtrack though. English dub was cheesier than DW8.

After finishing I was left with many questions.. also after hearing so much about inner sanctum I was expecting some huge or interesting area like Chancel or torture rooms but whatever. One of the best horror games ever made

I actually genuinely enjoy Dynasty Warriors 9, and I've played every mainline Dynasty Warriors game since 3, but I understand it's not a game for everyone even within the niche community interested in Warriors games. That being said, it's definitely gotten better since release.

David cage i would summerize as surface level flashy maybe interesting above with nothing underneath the surface. David features things that are meant to be mature because he thinks it makes it deap but they are always surface level. Madison is a charater who survives encounters with creeps but is never effected phtcologically The lady with alzhiemers is a carater you feel bad for but she is so cartoonish that you see the strings Mature topics in david cage games dont feel like parts of the story they feel like excuses to push an idea or a ball forward.

I love Heavy Rain so much, I'd even go so far as to say I have an emotional connection with the game. However, I do see all of the flaws you've pointed out. I thrive on seeing ways that the game could've been improved so that the game would have been one of the best games in gaming history and actually deserve it. If anyone has any ways they could've improved the game, I'd love to read them on the replies of this comment.
